GMC designated Food-vending streets in Guwahati

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) is soon to demarcate two street food vending zones to be named as “Khao Gali” in the city in an attempt to end the age-old clash between the law enforcement agencies and street vendors.

The road connecting Panbazar to Guwahati railway station and the road in front of Dighalipukhuri, which has already become a food hub, will be designated as “Khao Gali”.
