GMC Raids Paltan Bazar Hotels Over Unhygienic Food Practices

Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) officials conducted surprise raids on several hotels in Paltan Bazar late Thursday night, starting at 12:30 am, in response to allegations of unsanitary food practices. The raids revealed shocking conditions, including week-old meat stored improperly, pest infestations, and expired ingredients. As a result, GMC sealed the hotels to safeguard public health from unsafe food.
