GMC Sanctions ₹1.4 Crore for Road and Drain Works Across 11 Wards

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation has approved 14 road and drainage projects across 11 wards, worth ₹1.40 crore. Tendering is underway, with bids closing and opening on November 21.
Works include improvements in Kachari Basti, Barthakur Mill Bye Lane, Manasha Mandir Road, Bangaon, Beltola, Santi Nagar, Latakata, Hathat Colony, Rest Camp, and Athgaon. The GMC aims to boost road quality and upgrade drainage to ease traffic and reduce waterlogging.
