Gogoi Alleges Sonowal Being Sidelined Within BJP

Assam Congress chief Gaurav Gogoi alleged that former Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal is being repeatedly humiliated and sidelined within the BJP. Citing recent remarks by Amit Shah and the absence of Sonowal’s image in BJP hoardings, Gogoi questioned the party’s treatment of the Union Minister. He also accused Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of undermining senior leaders. Gogoi said Congress alliance talks are progressing, while Sarma dismissed the claims and predicted poor electoral performance for Congress.
