Golaghat Distributes Nutritious Food to 1,683 TB Patients

The Golaghat Health Department, with support from Numaligarh Refinery and the Hare Krishna Movement, distributed nutritious food packets to 1,683 TB patients at an event held at the Golaghat Municipality Board Conference Hall.

The initiative, part of the National Tuberculosis Control Cell’s CSR program, also honored ‘Nikshaya Mitras’ who support TB patients. Officials, healthcare workers, and NGOs attended the event. Nutritious food, along with medication, plays a vital role in strengthening immunity and aiding recovery from tuberculosis.
