Government Teacher Suspended for Election Campaign Violation

A government teacher, Tebasraun Brahma of No. 2 Patabari L.P. School in Kajalgaon village, Chirang, was suspended for participating in election campaign activities of political parties, violating the election code of conduct. The suspension came after a complaint was lodged with the district election officer by the Bodoland People’sF party, supported by evidence of Brahma’s involvement in a motorcycle rally on April 3. An inquiry committee was formed, and based on its findings and reports from authorities, Brahma was suspended and removed from duties at the polling station by District Electoral Officer P Vijay Bhaskar Reddy.
