GP Singh: Target me instead of commoners if they have a problem with him to ULFA-I

Director General of Police (DGP) GP Singh asked the United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I), a banned organisation, to target him if they have a problem with him rather than harming the common people on Friday, in response to three grenade explosions in Assam.

In an interview with the media, Singh stated, “How can those who claim to love Assam, inflict injury on it? They (ULFA-I) always mention my name…I stay in Kahilipara, they are free to target me if they have any problem with me instead of throwing grenades here and there.”
