Grenade Attack in Srinagar Injures 12 Civilians

A grenade attack in Srinagar’s busy Sunday market injured 12 civilians, including a woman with serious injuries. The attack occurred near the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) at 2:10 PM when terrorists hurled a grenade at a security force deployment. Srinagar Police have registered a case under FIR No. 66/2024. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attack, urging security forces to stop the violence. This incident follows the killing of a top Lashkar-e-Toiba commander in an encounter in Srinagar.
