GST Department Holds Awareness Meeting with Motor Parts Traders in Guwahati

The Assam State GST Department held an awareness meeting with motor parts and accessories traders in Guwahati to promote GST compliance and prevent tax evasion.

The meeting, chaired by Jitu Doley, IRS, Commissioner of Taxes, focused on tax evasion and non-compliance issues in the sector. Traders were urged to follow GST regulations and help identify tax evaders.

Representatives of the Motor Parts and Accessories Dealers Association assured full cooperation with the department and pledged to support efforts to strengthen tax compliance and curb revenue losses.
