Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport ranked 10th in domestic passenger traffic for December 2024, handling 5,75,358 passengers. This highlights its growing role in Northeast India’s aviation sector. Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru airports led the rankings. Managed by Adani Airport Holdings, Guwahati Airport saw record single-day traffic on November 14, 2024, with 20,413 passengers and 146 flight movements.
