Guwahati: Five rivers to be desilted with a project worth Rs 12.91 crore
A project worth Rs 12.91 crore has been undertaken by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) to clean and desilt the Bharalu, Mora Bharalu, Basistha, Bahini, and Lakhimijan rivers. On December 27, 2023, the GMC floated tenders into five packages for the desilting of the five rivers.
