Guwahati Jal Board Faces Criticism Over Water Supply Disruptions

The Guwahati Jal Board temporarily suspended water supply in Geetanagar and surrounding areas on Monday due to a pipeline leakage at Krishna Nagar, Chandmari. However, frustrated residents complained about frequent shutdowns and low-pressure supply, calling it a recurring issue. Despite paying monthly fees, they demanded better service and quicker resolution of the ongoing problems. The affected areas include Tarun Nagar, Nabin Nagar, and Panbazar.
