Tragic Accident in Guwahati Claims One Life and Injures Three Students

A water tanker lost control near Assam Down Town University in Guwahati on Monday, hitting several vehicles and pedestrians. The accident resulted in the death of scooty rider Mangal Gupta and left three students from the university severely injured. The tanker, registered AS01 MC 8420, collided with a goods vehicle before striking Gupta’s scooter and then hitting the students. They have been admitted to Down Town Hospital in critical condition. Police quickly arrived on the scene and seized the tanker.
