Guwahati Municipal Corporation reports a water supply interruption

The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has declared that due to essential maintenance-related work, there will be disruptions in the water supply in certain parts of the city.

According to the announcement, the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will be performing restoration work, so water supply customers under the GMC’s Panbazar Water Treatment Plant should be ready. They stated that the current transformer and panel board will be modified and moved from the intake point, causing a disruption in the water supply from 10/01/2024 to 11/01/2024.
