Guwahati: One person is killed in an accident on the Nilachal flyover

One person was killed and five others were injured in a major accident on Guwahati’s newly opened Nilachal Flyover. The accident happened on the Nilachal Flyover early Saturday morning, killing one person on the spot.

According to sources, a truck was speeding down the flyover towards Bharalumukh. It hit a city bus first, then ran over four two-wheelers. Khabiruddin from Sialmari in Nalbari was later identified as the person who died in the incident. The accident injured four more people seriously.
