Guwahati Police Suspect Accident in Cotton University Official’s Death

Guwahati Police have ruled out murder in the death of Dhruvajyoti Barman, an administrative superintendent from Cotton University, stating it was likely an accident. Barman died after a collision and confrontation with a truck driver in Jorabat. Police suspect he was hit by another vehicle during the altercation. They have seized the involved truck but made no arrests yet. An autopsy and CCTV footage review are underway to confirm the exact cause of death.
