Guwahati Railway Station Gets AI-Powered CCTV and Panic Buttons for Enhanced Passenger Safety

NF Railway has installed 135 AI-based CCTV cameras and 20 panic buttons at Guwahati railway station to boost security and emergency response. The system includes face recognition, intrusion alerts, and round-the-clock RPF monitoring. Similar upgrades are planned for other stations, with Haiborgaon already partially equipped. Surveillance is also expanding at level crossings to improve overall railway safety.
