Guwahati to Overhaul Garbage Collection System

The GMC plans to implement a more efficient system, potentially retaining NGOs that meet stricter criteria, to address the city’s waste management issues and improve hygiene. Some councillors oppose the new plan, adding complexity to its implementation.
