Half-Decayed Body of Woman Found in Guwahati’s Hengrabari

The half-decayed body of Manasi Konwar Kachari from Dhemaji, Assam, was discovered in her rented room in Hengrabari, Guwahati, on Thursday. The body was found after a foul smell prompted the landlord to check the room. The time and cause of death are yet to be determined. The police have sent the body for an autopsy and recovered documents and a mobile phone. An investigation is underway.
