Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma extended greetings to Assam Police on Assam Police Day, praising its personnel for their courage, dedication and commitment to public service. In a social media post, he said the people of Assam could live peacefully because police personnel remained on duty round the clock to protect them.
