Himanta Reviews Essential Commodity Prices, Infrastructure Projects

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday reviewed the state’s essential commodity market and major infrastructure projects with senior officials.

He directed authorities to closely monitor prices, prevent hoarding and black marketing, and ensure uninterrupted supply of LPG and petroleum products across Assam. Sarma also urged officials to speed up ongoing infrastructure projects while maintaining quality standards.

The Chief Minister said projects like stadia and convention centres would play a major role in Assam’s future development.
