Hit-and-Run Tragedy Claims Life in Guwahati

In a tragic incident on Tuesday night, a hit-and-run accident on Guwahati’s VIP road resulted in the loss of a life. The victim, identified as Jitu Kalita from Tangla, Udalguri district, Assam, was fatally struck by a fast-moving truck while travelling on his motorcycle from the Six Mile area. The truck fled the scene, leaving Kalita dead on the spot. Local police have launched an investigation into the incident.
