HSLC Exams Begin in Assam with Over 4.38 Lakh Candidates Appearing

The HSLC examinations commenced across Assam on Tuesday with 4,38,565 candidates appearing at 1,046 centres. The exams will continue till February 27.

The first day remained largely peaceful, though minor issues were reported from Sipajhar in Darrang district due to delayed question papers and from Gauripur in Dhubri district over a missing admit card. Both matters were later addressed by authorities.

Officials said examinations progressed smoothly across most districts, with no major disruptions reported.
