In an effort to cancel the CAA and ILP, the AJYCP organises statewide protests

In an attempt to force the state to introduce an inner line permit (ILP) and repeal the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the Assom Jatiyatabadi Yuva-Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) staged a three-hour sit-in at all district headquarters on Friday. Through each district’s district commissioner (DC), the Parishad presented memoranda to the Indian president supporting the twin demands.
