In Manipur, new violence has claimed three lives

Three youths’ mutilated bodies were discovered following heavy gunfire at Kuki Thowai village in Ukhrul district on Friday, according to officials, in a fresh round of violence in ethnically divided Manipur.

According to officials, after a thorough search of the nearby villages and forested areas by police, the bodies of the three young people, who ranged in age from 24 to 35, were discovered.
