In relation to the APSC cash-for-job scam, two more gazetted officers summoned

On December 18, the Special Investigation Team will call in two more gazetted officers to the CID office in Guwahati as part of their ongoing investigation into the APSC cash-for-job scam.

Rumi Timungpi and Swarup Bhattacharya have been identified as as the officers.

APS Rumi Timungpi, who did not pass the APSC mains exam, is reportedly posted to the Assam Police headquarters at this time.
