In West Guwahati, eight thieves were apprehended with valuable stolen items

A gang of eight thieves was apprehended at Saraighat Nagar on Wednesday by a team from the West Guwahati Police District’s (WGPD) Jalukbari Outpost. The thieves are identified as Farhad Ali (30) of Amtoli, Bongra; Phool Chand (26) of Kazigaon Ravapara; Ali Akbor (20) of Sillapur Part-II Gauripur, Dhubri; Juran Ali (35) of Tapaguri, Hajo; Khaibar Ali (30) of Kuriyabari, Sialmari, Nalbari; Saibuddin Rahman (25) of Nauparapum, Hajo; Tabisuddin (28) of Nauparapum, Hajo; Rabichand of Nauparapum, Sialmari.

The team recovered gold and silver ornaments, bronze utensils, eight mobile phones, three motorcycles, one car, two wristwatches, one gas cylinder, and one ceiling fan from their possession, according to sources.
