International Climate Workshop at Cotton University Calls for Science–Policy Collaboration

A two-day international workshop on extreme climate events concluded at Cotton University with experts urging stronger science–policy coordination to tackle rising hydro-meteorological risks in the Eastern Himalayan region. The event brought together researchers, policymakers and disaster experts from India, Japan, Bhutan and Nepal, focusing on climate vulnerability, extreme weather impacts and improved forecasting and early warning systems.
