Joint Operation Leads to Seizure of 204 kgs of Ganja in Dhubri District

In a collaborative effort between Dhubri police and 48 Battalion CRPF, a joint operation resulted in the seizure of 204 kgs of ganja valued at Rs 17 lakhs. The contraband was discovered in two separate cars with registration numbers TR 05 F 0772 and TR 01 BH 0787 on NH 17 at the Sagolia Interstate border under Agomoni police jurisdiction in Dhubri district. Two individuals, identified as Bijoy Das and Raj Kumar Das from Tripura, were arrested in connection with the drug haul. The police also confiscated both vehicles along with the seized contraband in the operation.
