Jorhat DC Orders Monthly Water Quality Tests for Hotels and Restaurants

The Jorhat district commissioner has directed all hotels, restaurants, guest houses, and homestays to conduct monthly drinking water quality tests. Reports must be submitted to the ADC (Health) by the 7th of each month. Tests should cover BIS-specified physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters. The PHED will facilitate testing, and non-compliance will face action under public health laws.
