Jorhat Medical College Doctor Suspended Over Sexual Harassment Allegations

A doctor at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) has been suspended after being accused of sexually harassing an intern during her night duty. The accused, Khairul Islam, a PG 3rd semester doctor in the maternity department, allegedly assaulted the intern while she was resting. Hospital authorities have suspended him and initiated an investigation, with an inquiry committee set to submit a report soon.
