Jorhat police summons APCC Chief Bhupen Borah

Bhupen Borah, the head of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, received a notice from the Jorhat police on Thursday at the Jorhat Police Station.

Bhupen Borah is reportedly scheduled to appear at the Jorhat police station on January 31, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Following the violence that broke out during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on January 18, a lawsuit was filed against a number of Congress leaders, including Bhupen Borah.

Additionally, the notification stated he would be arrested on that day if he did not show up.
