Kaziranga National Park Conducts Refresher Training for Safari Drivers and Mahouts

Kaziranga National Park has launched a refresher training program for 700 Gypsy safari drivers and mahouts, funded by the Assam Skill Development Mission. The training focuses on improving visitor safety, wildlife interpretation, and enhancing tourist experiences. Three batches, each with 100 participants, have successfully completed the program. Certificates, badges, and uniforms were distributed to participants. Assam Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah praised the initiative, emphasizing its role in preserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable wildlife tourism.
