Key Arrests Made in Assam Trading Scam

Thursday saw major breakthroughs in Assam’s unregulated trading scam case. Mainao Brahma, accused of defrauding over 80,000 people of ₹100 crore, was arrested at Guwahati airport in a joint police operation. Brahma had been hiding in New Delhi before being tracked down. Authorities expect her arrest to reveal more about the widespread scam.
