The ongoing 14-day book fair at Khanapara, organised by the Assam Publication Board, is witnessing strong footfall despite winter chill, with book sales crossing ₹2 crore since its launch on December 24. Books priced from as low as ₹15 have added to the fair’s appeal, while titles on iconic Assamese singer Zubeen Garg have emerged as major crowd-pullers, reflecting sustained public interest in Assamese literature and culture.
