Kokrajhar Nursing Students Protest Over Fake Certificates

Students of Neevadita Academy in Kokrajhar staged a protest, accusing the institute of issuing fake nursing certificates. They alleged that failed students were charged ₹5,000 for re-exams and later declared passed, but certificates were rejected by hospitals. A teacher revealed the academy lacked affiliation and fabricated documents. Police detained Principal Prabir Ghosh for questioning, while locals demanded strict action.
