Lakhimpur Headmaster Arrested Under POCSO for Abusing Minor

A high school headmaster, Niron Neog, in Lakhimpur district was arrested under the POCSO Act 2012 for allegedly sexually abusing a 16-year-old Class X girl during tuition before her HSLC-2025 exam. The victim is six months pregnant. Police acted on a family complaint at Laluk station, arresting him after court proceedings in North Lakhimpur on Thursday.
