Landslide Kills Three in Guwahati After Heavy Rain

Guwahati: Three members of a family were killed in a landslide at Nijarapara near Laxmi Mandir in Mathgharia following heavy rainfall. The victims were identified as Nagen Rajbongshi, Chunu Rajbongshi and their daughter Meena Rajbongshi, while their son Biplab survived.

Meanwhile, heavy morning rain triggered waterlogging in several parts of the city, including Hatigaon, Six Mile, Panjabari and Chandmari. A tree also fell on the main road at Barowari, disrupting traffic.
