Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife in Kamrup

Tension gripped Jayantipur village in Kamrup district after a 28-year-old man, Taqshed Ali, allegedly stabbed his wife, Sahida Begum, to death on Wednesday.

Police detained Ali from the scene and later arrested him after he allegedly confessed to the crime. Preliminary reports suggest the couple had frequent disputes over allegations of an extramarital affair.
