Man Kills Friend, Dumps Body in Satchel in Guwahati

A gruesome murder in Gorchuk, Guwahati, has shocked residents after a man allegedly killed his friend, Rafikul Islam, and attempted to dispose of the body by stuffing it inside a satchel and throwing it into a river on Wednesday evening.

Police said the motive is still unclear. The Basistha Police Station has registered a case and launched an investigation, questioning locals and suspects. Authorities assured that the accused will be arrested soon and face strict legal action.
