Manipur Deputy CM Losii Dikho Accuses Kuki Militant Group of Naga Killings, Demands Kipgen’s Resignation

Imphal: Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho has accused the Kuki National Front (President), headed by fellow Deputy CM Nemcha Kipgen’s husband Thangboi Kipgen, of involvement in the killings of Naga civilians. He demanded that Kipgen either resign or intervene to stop the violence.

Dikho said his allegations were based on accounts from released captives. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating the abduction and killing of six Naga men during the May-June hostage crisis. Nemcha Kipgen has previously denied allegations of collusion with militants.
