Manipur CM Khemchand Singh Visits Sinai SoO Camp After Security Forces Take Control

Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh visited the Sinai Suspension of Operations (SoO) camp in Kangpokpi district on Sunday, October 25, following its takeover by CRPF, CoBRA and Manipur Police. The operation, launched after the killing of three civilians near Nongshum, led to the arrest of 17 individuals allegedly impersonating registered militant cadres.

Accompanied by government spokesperson Thokchom Radheshyam Singh, the Chief Minister inspected the camp and interacted with security officials. He praised the security forces and stressed the need to protect civilians during operations. Calling for an end to gun culture, Khemchand urged people to surrender illegal weapons and work towards lasting peace in Manipur.
