Massive Fire Destroys Wedding Hall in Silchar

A massive fire broke out at “Milan Mandir” near Sadarghat, Silchar, on Thursday morning. The blaze, intensified by two gas cylinder explosions, destroyed the entire godown. Firefighters from nearby areas deployed eight fire engines and controlled the fire after an hour of efforts. The estimated loss is several lakhs, with a short circuit suspected as the cause.
