Minister Hazarika Inspects Erosion-Affected Embankments in Raha

Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika inspected erosion-hit embankments at Saikialgaon and Bagalajan in Raha on Friday. He assured locals that embankment work would begin within 7-10 days to address the crisis. Hazarika also laid the foundation for a road project at Saikialgaon and emphasized the government’s commitment to resolving erosion issues promptly. He refrained from commenting on the banned buffalo fight tradition, citing court orders. The minister was accompanied by Raha MLA Sashikant Das and officials.
