Minister Reviews Flood Relief Measures in Guwahati

DoHUA Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah chaired a review meeting in Guwahati to boost flood relief efforts and preparedness. Key decisions include pre-positioning of relief items, appointment of 10 disaster volunteers per GMC ward, and ₹4 lakh ex gratia to families of five flood victims. JCBs will remain on standby for landslide zones. Drain cleaning and public committee monitoring were also prioritized for post-flood response.
