Mithun Chakraborty Praises Assam CM, Criticizes TMC and Mamata Banerjee

Mithun Chakraborty, at the ‘Barak Samskritik Mahotsab’ in Silchar, praised Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for his strong leadership against illegal infiltration. He criticized the TMC as the “most corrupt party” and called his joining the party a mistake. Chakraborty also expressed confidence in BJP’s potential to replace TMC in West Bengal through fair elections. He stated he won’t contest in 2026 but will continue supporting BJP.
