Mizoram CM: Now is not the time to work with the BJP

Mizoram Chief Minister and President of the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) Zoramthanga said on Tuesday that his party will not work with the BJP in the November 7 election for the 40-member state legislature.

He stated that now is not the time to be close to the saffron party, particularly with the majority Meitei community burning hundreds of churches in neighbouring Manipur, which is led by a BJP government.
