Mob Destroys House in Nagaon Over Alleged Cattle Theft
An incident unfolded in Namgaon, under the Raha police station in Nagaon, where a mob demolished the house of Saidul Islam, allegedly involved in a cattle theft case. On Tuesday night, two cattle were stolen from the Chotabar area. After a massive search operation, the owner and villagers found the cattle at Saidul Islam’s house.
Upon discovery, locals gathered and demolished the house, dumping the materials into the nearby Kolong River. Raha police, led by officer-in-charge Raju Deb, quickly intervened to control the situation. Subsequently, the police arrested three individuals allegedly involved in the crime: Abdul Rahman (40), Hafizur Rahman (30), and Abdul Ali (60).
