Moran Community in Arunachal Granted PRCs by Assam Government

The Assam government has issued Permanent Residence Certificates (PRCs) to 118 members of the Moran community living in Arunachal Pradesh. The certificates were distributed by Minister Pijush Hazarika during a ‘Yuva Sanmilan’ event in Tinsukia. Hazarika called it a historic and inclusive move, ensuring the community’s access to government welfare schemes and reserved educational seats. The event was attended by local MLAs and officials. Later, the minister reviewed progress at the under-construction Burhidihing Model College in Balijan.
