Morigaon District Conducts Haj Training Programme, Emphasizes Airport Precautions

The Morigaon district administration, in collaboration with the District Haj Committee, organized a training program for Muslims slated to perform Haj from the district in 2024. Held at Bar Mosque in Mori Muslim village, the event saw District Commissioner Devashish Sharma stressing the importance of airport precautions to the pilgrims. Sharma highlighted the potential challenges of navigating crowds and language barriers at the airport, advising pilgrims to remain vigilant and cooperative with security forces. He recommended carrying passports and mobile phones in neck pouches for easy accessibility. The training aimed to equip pilgrims with necessary guidance for a smooth and safe Haj journey, with attendees including District Haj Committee officials and prospective Haj pilgrims.
